Hitting a Baseball: A Biomechanical Description

Motion capture has been around for a while now in baseball.  This study from 1995 from Welch, et al., which capture ground reaction forces (GRF) and kinematic sequence of professional players.  Here is a summary of the study with a link to the article below:
